Our aim

Being as sustainable as possible is at the core of who we are. We strive to find ways to be better in the way we work, both in the creation of our work and in the running of the business too.

This is a journey and although we have not perfected it just yet, we are working towards being better and finding ways to be kinder to the environment to preserve and protect our planet for future generations. There is always room for improvement.

Transparency is at the heart of how we communicate in all aspects in business from speaking with clients, in our copy and our content across various social media channels. So at the outset it is important to say that yes our signage is made from acrylic but it is not the standard acrylic that is often used.  We only use 100% post-consumer recycled acrylic which has been carefully and consciously chosen. 

At every point in the creation of our products and packaging we consider 'is this the best product / material to use?'.  This also includes our films and our paints.

Our packaging is made in the UK, made from recycled material and are recyclable.  Our brand stickers are made from recycled paper, vegan friendly glue and ink (vegetable dyes) and our bags are compostable and biodegradable too! 

 

Conscious choice

I spent many months searching for a better way to have beautiful signage, whether that be for your wedding, event, special moments or to remind yourself just how amazing you are.  I have been working with specialist companies to ensure that the whole range is created using only 100% recycled sheets, designing and having prototypes made to ensure that everything works together seamlessly.

This is why we use Green Cast® acrylic.  It is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, making it the best choice which aligns to our core value of striving to be as sustainable as possible.  It is also a great choice if you are also wanting to reduce your environmental footprint. 

Green Cast® acrylic produces no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) when manufactured, making it a safe choice for both people and the environment.

The vinyl for our lettering, is PVC free, eco friendly and 100 % vegan.

And it doesn't stop there. Our paint finishes are organic, non toxic, VOC free and NOT tested on animals.  Both vegetarian and vegan friendly.

  

Ethically Signed Sustainable Commitments:

• Plant a tree for every order over £100.00. We shall use the National Trust, a registered charity who protect and care for places so people and nature can thrive. This change will streamline the process whilst still achieving our aim to offset the carbon footprint of each booking.

• To be mindful in the way we work. Our workshop is local and has timed lighting. There is no way of accidentally leaving the light on for longer than needed!

• Bulk ordering materials. This reduces the amount of deliveries and the miles travelled to get the goods to us.

• We only use packaging that can be recycled. Our tissue paper is acid free and recyclable. Our branded stickers are recyclable, printed using vegetable dye and the glue is vegan friendly.  We use compostable sign sleeves to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging. 

• Review our emails and their frequency to reduce the impact on the environment, whilst keeping them meaningful and informative.

• Growing our ranges carefully to ensure any shelf life of paints and items are considered.
